Lead Technician, Test and Balance HVAC
About The Position
The Lead Test and Balance Technician oversees the testing, adjusting, and balancing of HVAC systems to ensure optimal airflow, system performance, and compliance with engineering specifications. This role conducts detailed measurements, diagnoses system issues, and documents all findings while leading and mentoring junior technicians in proper T&B procedures. The Lead Technician partners with project managers, engineers, and clients to verify system functionality, resolve discrepancies, and ensure that all work meets industry standards, safety requirements, and project deadlines.
