About The Position

The Lead Video Producer, Brand & Partnerships is a key creative role within the Miami Athletics content team and serves as the lead shooter and editor across assigned revenue-generating content initiatives. This position is a hands-on production leader responsible for owning projects from concept through final delivery, with a strong emphasis on sponsored content, NIL fulfillment, branded storytelling, partner campaigns, ticketing & hospitality experience, development and marketing-driven creative. This role plays a central part in the department’s commercial content efforts by leading assigned productions end-to-end, helping shape creative concepts, and collaborating closely with partnerships, marketing, digital, ticketing, development and internal stakeholders to bring ideas to life and drive revenue. The ideal candidate is an experienced producer with strong creative instincts, high-level technical ability, and the ability to take ownership of projects while maintaining creative quality, efficiency, and brand alignment across all deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in video production, film, communications, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in video production, creative production, branded content, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Experience with professional camera systems, including cinema, DSLR, and mirrorless platforms such as Sony, Canon, RED, and Blackmagic.
  • Strong command of lighting, audio capture, production planning, and post-production workflows.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong creative judgment and problem-solving skills in fast-paced production environments.
  • Self-starter with excellent organization, time management, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and select events as production schedules require.
  • Reel or portfolio required for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • Motion graphics experience (After Effects, Cinema 4D or similar).
  • Experience producing branded, sponsored, commercial, and/or NIL-related content.
  • Experience in sports, entertainment, agency, media, or brand environments.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead shooter and editor for assigned commercial content projects, including sponsored content, NIL fulfillment, branded campaigns, partner activations, and marketing initiatives.
  • Own assigned projects from ideation through final delivery, leading the creative execution across pre-production, production, post-production, and delivery.
  • Play a key role in developing, pitching, and refining content concepts that align with partner objectives, marketing priorities, revenue goals, and Miami Athletics brand standards.
  • Work closely with Partnerships, Marketing, Digital, Sales, and Creative teams to align on goals, gather project requirements, and ensure smooth execution throughout the lifecycle of each project.
  • Lead hands-on production efforts in both studio and field settings.
  • Coordinate and execute all production needs for assigned shoots, including planning, scheduling, equipment prep, lighting, audio, shot development, talent coordination, and on-site logistics.
  • Shoot and deliver high-quality short-form and long-form content for social media, digital platforms, in-venue use, paid media, sales materials, and partner-facing content.
  • Lead the post-production process on assigned projects, including editing, footage organization, asset management, and final output preparation across multiple platforms.
  • Help maintain a high standard of creative quality, storytelling, and brand consistency across all commercial and revenue-focused content.
  • Bring a strong understanding of platform-first storytelling and create content that is optimized for social, digital, web, in-venue, and campaign use.
  • Stay current on content trends, production techniques, and branded storytelling best practices to help elevate the department’s creative output and identify new opportunities.
  • Serve as a key contributor within the department by helping support workflow, production planning, and creative collaboration across teams.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director, Creative Services.
