Job Function: Performs a variety of cleaning task in all areas to maintain a sanitary, pleasant, and safe environment for patients, residents, visitors, and associates. Must comply with all requirements for infection control, safety, and cleanliness as mandated by JCAHO, OSHA, DOH, and other regulatory agencies. Support in-service training, train all new associates, fill-in as needed as Supervisor. Perform QA rounds ensuring proper use of techniques and chemicals. Assures that high standards of cleanliness and efficiency are maintained per OSHA, DOH, and JCAHO standards. Master understanding and knowledge of supply ordering and monitoring.
