About The Position

TripleTen is an online education platform helping people launch new careers in tech through immersive, outcomes-focused programs. We work globally, value data-driven decision-making, and believe transparency and collaboration are key to building strong teams. We’re looking for a Learning Experience Designer to join the USA Curriculum Team for a 1-year, project-based, remote role. You will take part in creating content for our B2C courses. The topics covered are data analysis, generative AI, Python and Java programming. 💡 Please note that after applying for this position, you will be required to complete a test assignment. Successfully completing this assignment will be the first step in the interview process.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with technical topics such as software engineering, software testing, data science, data analysis, or cybersecurity.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an instructional designer, learning experience designer, or in a similar role.
  • Experience designing a learning program from scratch using learning design best practices (e.g. Understanding by Design, Kolb’s Cycle, Cognitive Load Theory), including designing various forms of assessment.
  • A strong grasp of evidence-based learning and the ability to adopt evidence-based practices.
  • English proficiency (C1/C2 according to the CEFR Framework) and strong writing skills.
  • Good project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines amid shifting priorities.

  • Experience working with Content Management Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Review learning materials and assessments written by Curriculum Developers to ensure they align with learning objectives, industry standards, and pedagogical best practices.
  • Improve learning materials at different stages of curriculum production: drafting program high-level competencies, curriculum outlines, learning modules, and individual lessons, including designing learning experiences using scaffolding principles to gradually build learner independence.
  • Develop parts of the curriculum, such as individual lessons or modules.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative learning data to identify issues, validate design decisions, and address learner pain points.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Curriculum Developers, Instructors, and Designers.
  • Contribute to the evolution of learning design standards and best practices across curricula.
