If you’re a Human Resources or Business major, we have an exciting internship opportunity for you. The Learning & Organizational Development Intern at Woodward will work closely with our Sr. Learning Coordinator and dedicate their time to gaining a full understanding of the L&OD function. Throughout the internship, they will rotate across several essential areas within the department, including developing and implementing core, targeted, and accelerated talent initiatives. This immersive experience provides hands-on involvement in designing, delivering, and evaluating learning solutions that foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. Communication and coordination are central to this role; the intern will regularly interact with team members, support the scheduling and facilitation of learning events, and help ensure that resources and information are delivered accurately and on time. Through these experiences, the intern will sharpen their communication, project management, and teamwork skills, all while contributing to the growth and effectiveness of the department. Requirements

Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Competent skills in problem solving and trouble-shooting.
Competent in the use of PCs, MS Office Programs and other associated software.
Ability to effectively operate in a team environment.
Effective time management skills.
Solid knowledge of the English language with the ability to speak, read and write along with good listening skills.
Good marks in relevant subjects.
Possess high motivation, flexibility and ability to work on his/her own.
Must be at least a sophomore in an accredited College or University program and have an acceptable grade point average.
This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR and EAR, or possess all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State Department and the U.S. Department of Commerce. Responsibilities

Assist the Sr. Learning Coordinator by supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of learning events and development programs.
Communicate effectively with team members and business partners to ensure resources and information are shared accurately and in a timely manner.
Support core, targeted, and accelerated talent initiatives to gain exposure to major facets of the L&OD function.
Contribute to the development and implementation of talent programs by partnering with our Talent Development and Learning members.
