Specialty Lease Administration Analyst Intern

This is a fully on-site position operating 40 hours per week, offering hands-on experience in lease administration and accounts receivable while working alongside experienced professionals.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in business, real estate, finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and summarize lease documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with lease administration systems is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Interest in retail real estate and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Cash Application Support: Assist with cash applications for an assigned property to gain insight into the Accounts Receivable process.
- Accounts Receivable Cleanup: Help organize and resolve outstanding receivables, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Specialty License Agreement Abstraction: Support the team in reviewing and summarizing specialty license agreements.
- Data Cleanup: Assist with contact updates, organization of miscellaneous receipts, and verification of insurance clauses.
- Tenant Communication: Respond to tenant inquiries regarding lease terms, conditions, and obligations.
- Monthly Processes: Contribute to essential monthly tasks, including defaults, commercial billing, percentage-in-lieu (PIL) processes, and rent roll audits.
- Process Improvement Projects: Participate in initiatives to enhance lease administration processes for integration and improve overall efficiency.
- TANs Management: Gain exposure to handling Tenant Activity Notices (TANs) as part of the integration process.
