The Lease Operator III is responsible for safe and efficient, daily operations of our natural gas system. This is a senior level position which will require the ability to perform duties independently. The role involves traveling to each location to gather, record, and report all relevant information (i.e. gauges, fluids, pressures, production, etc., in an accurate and consistent manner). Inspecting locations for any leaks, spills, and recognizing any potential issues is also a key responsibility. The operator must contact the immediate supervisor with any relevant issues or significant production loss in a timely manner. Additionally, the operator is responsible for recording and processing all paperwork, inspections, timecards, and expense reports in a timely manner, and attending safety meetings, online KPA Safety training, and vehicle inspections. The operator must identify and diagnose any problems on location and repair them without supervision, which could include Gaslift, H-pumps, Dehy, and artificial lift. Maintaining and increasing production through good, daily operations by properly utilizing tools and equipment available is essential. Effective communication with supervisors, vendors, service individuals, and peers is required. The operator should be willing to start early or stay late to perform the job or task required to maintain production and take initiative to assist with well workovers, enhancement projects, and various other projects when available.
