About The Position

We have an immediate need for a full-time Leasing + Activities Coordinator to join the team at Pinnacle Living at Forts Ferry, one of United Group's professionally managed multi-family communities located in Latham, NY. Major Tasks + Key Responsibilities MARKETING AND LEASING: Assists in preparation of advertising and marketing materials Assists in preparation of regular market surveys Prepares weekly and monthly reports Makes recommendations to improve marketing and leasing programs Tours visitors of the community Shows apartments to interested guests Encourages interested guests to apply for residency Leases apartments to qualified applicants Assists applicant with application process Closes sale of apartments Keeps units leased to meet or exceed budget Plans, organizes, instructs, and supervises residents in crafts, games, sports, and recreational and cultural activities Develops new programs and coordinate activities for residents Provides ongoing information and communications with residents in conjunction with management staff via newsletter and event calendar Maintain all Social Media Platforms to Socially FIT standards, Post of Craigslist & Facebook Market Place Be comfortable with appearing and making videos as a representative for Pinnacle Living at Forts Ferry on video for Social Platforms Attend Networking Events after business hours as needed Maintain community outreach efforts to maintain incoming traffic to the property Help property manager with inputting payables as needed. ADMINISTRATION: Assists in the input of all data into computer system Assists in preparation of all necessary packages for lease up move-ins Creates letters/newsletters and/or flyers Ability to handle any emergencies that may arise on site Handles incoming phone calls Communicates all problems and makes recommendations to the Property Manager Create, Plan, Implement, and Host all Resident events (must be flexible to work weekends and weekday evenings if needed depending on event) Creates calendars, fliers, posters, monthly newsletters, or other materials for the purpose of announcing upcoming events Documents resident activity and personal work activity through notes, care plans, or other written documentation Arranges and serves appropriate refreshments for activities as needed Monitors materials and supplies; orders supplies as needed; stocks supplies upon receipt Acts as a liaison to senior service and health care providers in the community Job Overview + Requirements: Job Type: Leasing and Activities Coordinator; $19 per hour plus Bonus Program Work Hours: Full Time; Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (evenings and weekends as needed based on community events) Physical Requirements: Light lifting and carrying Required Education: Bachelors degree or related experience in Sales/Marketing and Event Coordination Required Experience: 1 -2 years of property management experience, specifically leasing and/or activities coordination. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Entrata and Canva preferred. Certifications: Professional designations, i.e. Certified Professional Manager (CPM), Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), or equivalent industry designation preferred. Qualities: Demonstrates integrity on a personal and professional level; Exceptional communication, sales, and negotiation skills; Ability to solve problems involving residents and challenging situations

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or related experience in Sales/Marketing and Event Coordination
  • 1 -2 years of property management experience, specifically leasing and/or activities coordination
  • Demonstrates integrity on a personal and professional level
  • Exceptional communication, sales, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to solve problems involving residents and challenging situations

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Entrata and Canva preferred.
  • Professional designations, i.e. Certified Professional Manager (CPM), Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), or equivalent industry designation preferred.
