About The Position
Leasing Specialist – Affordable Housing |Camden, NJ Salary: $20.00 - $22.00/hour | Part/Full-Time (40 hrs/week) | Monday–Friday | Occasional Evenings or Weekends as Needed Location: Tamarack Station Apartments – 1801 Davis St, Camden, NJ 08104 Connect People to Homes. Requirements
- 2+ years of apartment leasing experience preferred.
- Experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD-Section 8, HOME, RD) strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Fair Housing and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software.
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Basic math and data-entry abilities for rent collection and recordkeeping.
- High school diploma or GED required; COS or TCS certification desired or willingness to obtain.

- Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus.

Responsibilities
- Greet prospective residents, conduct tours, and highlight the features that make Conifer communities special.
- Market available units, respond to inquiries, and manage leasing applications and renewals.
- Process applications and recertifications accurately under LIHTC, HUD, or other affordable housing programs.
- Assist residents with rent collection, service requests, and community communications.
- Collaborate with maintenance and office staff to maintain high standards for property appearance and safety.
- Manage reports, filing, and data entry to keep operations running smoothly.
