We have an exciting opportunity for a Leasing Specialist to join our Founders 3 Team at a new apartment community development - Inspire Prairie Springs in Pleasant Prairie. You will be a key member of the team as we lease up this luxury apartment community. As a Leasing Specialist, you will provide superb customer service to prospective residents, vendors and residents. You will be responsible for the leasing and marketing of the property. As a key team member representing the property, you will work closely with the Property Manager and Maintenance staff.
Requirements
- Strong customer service background required; real estate and/or leasing experience preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills are required. Yardi knowledge a plus
- Exceptional communication skills – both verbal and written – as well as excellent client service, sales and relationship development skills.

Responsibilities
- Greet and qualify prospective residents and ask questions to cover all qualifying criteria, track and follow up on all inquiries.
- Show the community and apartment/model and apply product knowledge to clients’ needs by communicating the features and benefits; close the sale.
- Update availability report and process applications for approvals. (i.e., credit check, rental history, etc.) Submit processed applications to the Property Manager for approval. Follow up with applicant regarding status.
- Ensure apartment is ready for resident to move-in on agreed date.
- Assist in monitoring renewals. Distribute and follow-up on renewal notices.
- Participate in outreach marketing activities on a regular basis to obtain prospective residents, conduct market surveys and shop competitive communities.
- Maintain accurate monthly commission records on leases and renewals for bonus purposes.
- Assist in planning resident functions. Attend functions and participate as host for any functions as directed by the Property Manager.
