About The Position

The Computer Science Department in the College of Engineering, Computer Science & Construction Management is collecting application materials for a pool of lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the 2026-27 academic year. Appointments from the lecturer pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term.

Requirements

• The minimum education requirement for a lecturer appointment is a master's in computer science, strong English verbal communication skills, programming and technical skills appropriate for courses taught, and the ability to teach undergraduate computer science courses.

Nice To Haves

• Work experience in the software industry.
• Previous teaching experience at the college level.

Responsibilities

• Lecturer positions in the department carry responsibilities in the area of teaching one or more courses.
• This includes delivering lectures, creating/grading assignments, and creating/grading exams.
• Some courses include learning activities.
• Teaching assignments are based upon qualifications of the individual and the needs of the department.
