About The Position
The Criminology and Criminal Justice Departmentin the College of Liberal Arts, at the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for an Academic Professional Track – Lecturer position. In accordance with USCIS regulations, successful applicants must be legally able to accept work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Requirements
- An MA in Criminology, Criminal Justice or related field.
- A JD will be considered.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
Nice To Haves
- Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience in criminology and criminal justice.
- Practical experience working in criminal or juvenile justice or in a related field.
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses and engaging in service to the department, university and discipline.
