About The Position

Mutual of America’s Summer Internship Program provides college students with hands-on corporate experience working with meaningful projects and assignments. Throughout the 8-week program, interns will not only have direct guidance from experienced leaders in their assigned departments but can have the opportunity to attend training classes and planned events with other interns.

Requirements

• Only accepting rising Sophomores (grad year May 2029) and rising Juniors (grad year May 2028).
• Must have a minimum overall 3.4 GPA.
• Must be able to commute to NYC 4 days a week (Monday – Thursday)

Responsibilities

• Interact with and be mentored by senior and junior members of our team
• Work with members of the legal and compliance team in managing insurance and securities regulatory matters for the company and its subsidiaries
• Respond to ad-hoc analysis and queries from the business
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on issues related to: SEC regulatory developments, insurance regulation, privacy, cybersecurity, corporate governance, and employment law.
