Requirements

  • At least 2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a litigation support role
  • Familiarity with Colorado and Federal court systems and civil procedure rules (CRCP/FRCP) strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Experience with ProLaw, Litify, or other legal case-management systems is a plus
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily legal and administrative support to attorneys in a busy litigation practice
  • Proofread and format legal pleadings, correspondence, and internal documents
  • File and serve pleadings and discovery in state and federal courts
  • Calendar court deadlines, hearings, trials, and arbitration dates
  • Plan team events, make reservations, order meals, and provide other administrative support for team
  • Maintain case files, organize client documentation, and manage records
  • Coordinate scheduling with clients, attorneys, courts, and third parties
  • Communicate regularly with attorneys about deadlines, work status, and client needs
  • Answer and route incoming calls and emails with professionalism
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Contribute to firm operations by assisting with team coordination and administrative projects
