Position Overview The Legal & Compliance Specialist supports the General Counsel in executing the Company’s legal operations and compliance functions. This role is primarily responsible for maintaining the Company’s franchise compliance tracking platform (FranConnect), administering compliance workflows, managing legal and regulatory documentation systems, assisting with litigation discovery processes, supporting corporate governance documentation, and overseeing contract, lease, and license tracking. This position operates under the direction and supervision of the General Counsel and does not provide legal advice. The Legal & Compliance Specialist ensures accurate documentation, deadline tracking, regulatory organization, and operational execution across franchise and corporate legal functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3–7 years of experience in legal operations, compliance administration, paralegal support, contracts administration, franchise operations support, or related field.
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and documentation accuracy.
Nice To Haves
- paralegal certification or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience with compliance tracking platforms (e.g., FranConnect) strongly preferred.
