About The Position

Hayward Holdings, Inc. is seeking a motivated Summer Legal Intern to join our in-house Legal Department for Summer 2026. Over the course of this 10-week internship , the selected candidate will gain hands-on experience working closely with Hayward’s legal team on a variety of corporate, transactional, and compliance-related matters. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical exposure to the day-to-day operations of an in-house legal department at a publicly traded global manufacturing company , while collaborating with attorneys and cross-functional business partners across the organization.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Juris Doctor (JD) or related legal degree
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Interest in corporate law, commercial transactions, or in-house legal work
• Ability to work in-person at Hayward’s Charlotte, NC headquarters for the duration of the internship

Responsibilities

• Assist with corporate securities and regulatory compliance matters related to a publicly traded company
• Support public company governance activities , including preparation and review of governance materials and internal policies
• Conduct legal research and assist with matters related to intellectual property protection , including trademarks and patents
• Support the legal team on employment law matters , including policy review and documentation
• Review, organize, and assist in the drafting of commercial contracts and agreements
• Assist with legal project management , coordinating with internal stakeholders and outside counsel
• Perform legal research, prepare summaries, and support other projects as assigned by the legal team
