V105- Legal Operations Support Assistant
About The Position
We are seeking a Legal Operations Support Assistant to provide high-impact paralegal support for a busy personal injury practice. In this role, you will focus on substantive legal work, including drafting and polishing written work product and conducting thorough legal research to support case strategy and advocacy. You will collaborate closely with attorneys and paralegals, contributing clear, well-organized deliverables that help the team move matters forward with confidence and speed. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys deep thinking, strong writing, and synthesizing complex information into practical next steps, while thriving in a quality-first environment that values capability and critical judgment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a legal assistant, or in a legal support role and/or related Bachelor's degree in legal studies.
- Substantive legal support rather than administrative tasks
- Legal research capability
- Confident in conducting legal research and documenting findings clearly
- Comfortable using Westlaw/ Nexus Lexus for research tasks
- Legal writing strength
- Strong writing skills with attention to clarity and persuasion
- Able to proof and refine legal briefs with precision
- Analytical thinking
- Critical thinking and sound judgment in prioritizing and structuring information
- Able to synthesize large amounts of information into actionable summaries
- Professional effectiveness
- Capable and intelligent contributor who delivers timely, high-quality work
- Detail-oriented approach to drafting and reviewing work product
- Systems and tools proficiency
- Comfortable working in FileVine and Microsoft tools to manage and produce deliverables
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings into clear, usable outputs
- Proof legal briefs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and strong written presentation
- Draft demand letters and briefs based on provided facts, records, and attorney guidance
- Produce deliverables on schedule, with emphasis on quality and capability
- Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals during onboarding and ongoing execution
- Synthesize information into organized case support materials
- Perform general paralegal work to support active personal injury matters
