The Georgetown University Center for Global health Science and Security conducts original research the help decision makers worldwide build sustainable capacities to prevent, detect, respond to public health emergencies and provide policymakers, donors, and researchers with a high-quality evidence base to make decisions that promote health security. The Legal Research Associate will assist with various legal research and logistic tasks to support the research portfolio of the Center for Global Health Science and Security. They will work closely with Dr. Rebecca Katz, the Director of the Center for Global Health Science and Security, and Dr. Heather Swadley, Senior Legal Researcher, and contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects relating to global health and health security. In particular, the Legal Researcher will be responsible for curating a database on the relevant law in their subject area, as well as assisting Dr. Swadley with bespoke legal research projects.
