About The Position

To provide quality service to internal and external members. This position ensures prompt, efficient, and courteous service to members by identifying their financial needs and offering solutions by phone and online internet requests. Position requires a minimum of 28% funding of all applications received for the month. Refer a minimum of 30% of funded loans to INOVA Insurance via phone transfer. If an employee fails to meet their production and/or ancillary goals they may be subject to additional disciplinary action up to and including termination. This is intended to be only an overview of primary responsibilities for this role. This is not a complete listing of role functions. All Team Members are responsible for assisting the organization with various tasks as directed by management. Special projects and activities may also be created where Team Member talents can best be utilized. A core part of this role is to assist other team members and INOVA Federal Credit Union achieve success. Training is essential to increase employee knowledge and competencies related to the job. In order to accommodate organizational goals, all employees will be required to assist in training of new hires and assisting other team members with training and development as needed.

Requirements

  • 6 months experience in a sales/lending position
  • High school diploma

Responsibilities

  • Process loan applications in a timely and accurate manner; all applicants to be contacted within 1 hour of LE receiving application
  • Attempt to contact each loan lead using all methods available every day until contacted, and every other business day after initial contact until the loan has been funded; there should be a minimum of 5 attempts prior to canceling any loan request unless instructed otherwise by Director of Centralized Lending, Sr. VP of Lending or EVP
  • Assist members by answering questions and obtaining application over the phone
  • Request documentation from members pertaining to income, proof of VIN, identification, etc.
  • Utilize DocuSign for quick look to book times
  • Utilize either 2%, 3% or 30-45 day minimum verbal payoff with per diem for auto loan payoffs
  • Assist members with transactions, problem solving, advice, account and all loan and account applications
  • Complete loan process without errors to receive incentives
  • Provides external and internal members with prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient service
  • Keep member and credit union information confidential
  • Abide by all Credit Union policies and procedures, including the CIP and Lending Policies
  • Attend meetings and INOVA FCU events as required
  • Obtain a minimum of 28% funding of assigned applications
  • Obtain a 35% Debt Cancellation Payment Protection penetration monthly
  • Obtain a 35% MMP penetration monthly
  • Debt Cancellation/MMP goals may also be met in the combined percentage of products sold is 70% or greater
  • Obtain a GAP Policy penetration of 50% acceptance on loans outside the 100% LTV policy requirement
  • Maintain a 90% daily log in availability on the phones
  • Offer INOVA Insurance on all loan applications, and refer a minimum of 30% of funded loans for a quote
  • Cross sell additional autos on the members’ bureau to be refinanced with INOVA
  • Cross Sell a VISA credit card to each qualifying member refinancing with INOVA
