Level 1 Laborer - Suture Assembler (1st Shift)
About The Position
Follow quality rules for proper gowning, cleaning, or other tasks. Review and understand build sheets and work instructions. Picking and part inspection. Using tools such as a regrind, trimmer, Hudson clicker, or blank cutter. Ensure correct quantity of materials. Check and log air ionizer function. Gather materials per build sheet with specific lot codes FIFO fully. Follow job specific requirements of assembly. Follow job specific requirements of recording and storing damaged materials. Utilize cleaning materials to ensure Class II cleanliness or per job specification. Clearly label all products for QC verification. Label and pack orders per customer specification. Use manual pallet jack to bring completed pallets from packing area to shipping. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Good work ethic and positive attitude.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Able to follow and understand quality management objectives and manufacturing procedures.
- Must be fluent in English for communicating and reading safety instructions, procedures, and customer orders and parts.
- Must have good eyesight and fine motor functions.
- Must be able to stand long periods of time and walk continuously through assigned areas.
- Must have full range of motion.
- Must be able to wear facial mask, and gowning equipment including booties, gowns/jackets, gloves, eye protection when applicable, hair net, and facial hair net if/when applicable.
- Must be able to lift 45lbs occasionally and 25lbs regularly.
