What you will be doing As a Part-Time Level 1 Onsite Support Technician, you will be assisting the Support Operations Team in set-up and deployment of new equipment (laptops, desktops, etc.) for clients. The set-up will include installing new Windows OS and client software to ensure optimal performance. You will also be assisting the onsite support team in completing hardware upgrades or resolving issues that require onsite support. You will work closely with our centralized Service desk and Onsite teams in order to ensure successful delivery of requested services that exceed client expectations. This is an excellent position for someone currently taking college courses, as the hours can be flexible, and we offer a great learning environment. Some key activities in this role will include: Prepare, deploy and install hardware/software for clients Organize, track, and prioritize workload to exceed client expectations Manage, track, and report on hardware and software assets for clients Capture, track, and manage technical upgrade requests effectively and document in ticketing system Follow procedural documentation to setup and provision a variety of different technologies Assist in providing onsite technical support as required from the centralized Helpdesk team for issues that cannot be resolved remotely This position is in-person in our Troy, MI office
