You'll work on a variety of general liability, premises liability, and bodily injury claims, using your investigative and analytical skills to drive fair outcomes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of liability or casualty claims adjusting experience
• Strong knowledge of tort law and negligence
• Ability to handle a high-volume caseload independently
• Skilled in negotiation and report writing
• Licensed adjuster (or willing to obtain)
• Must live in Albany, NY or surrounding areas within 60 miles

Responsibilities

• Investigate claims by interviewing claimants, insureds, and witnesses
• Analyze liability, negligence, and comparative fault
• Review medical records, reports, and documentation to evaluate damages
• Set reserves and recommend settlements or denials
• Negotiate claims with attorneys and third parties
• Prepare clear, detailed reports and claim summaries
