For over 60 years, Walker Therapeutic and Educational Programs has been a leading non-profit organization providing comprehensive programming in the fields of child welfare, children’s behavioral health, and special education. We proudly serve over 150 communities in MA, with our clients coming from diverse racial and cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, who struggle predominantly with anxiety and trauma. These services are offered through Residential, CBAT, and Intensive Treatment Programs, Special Education Day School, Therapeutic Middle-High School, Out-Patient and In-Home Therapeutic Services. Summary of Position: To work independently in the Walker School library 1-2 evenings per week to maintain the Walker School library collection, including books and audiovisual materials. To consult to teachers after school or through email on use of library materials. Collaborate with education staff after school or through email with regard to developing and implementing the library curriculum. Committed to child centered, family focused culturally competent care and strength-based treatment.
