Clinical Care Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and intakes for patients with pain-related conditions Provide individual psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, ACT, MI, trauma-informed approaches) tailored to chronic pain populations Facilitate structured group therapy sessions focused on pain coping skills, functional restoration, emotional regulation, and health behavior change Develop and document individualized treatment plans aligned with the patient’s overall medical and physical reconditioning goals Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions based on clinical outcomes and interdisciplinary feedback Transdisciplinary Collaboration Participate in coordinated care workflows alongside medical providers, physical reconditioning clinicians, and clinic operations staff Communicate behavioral health findings and recommendations clearly to the care team to support integrated treatment planning Contribute to case discussions, handoffs, and unit-based coordination as scheduled Documentation & Compliance Complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in the electronic health record Maintain adherence to professional, ethical, legal, and regulatory standards (state licensure, HIPAA, payer requirements) Support quality assurance and utilization management processes when applicable Patient Experience Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care that reflects the organization’s mission and values Support patient engagement, adherence, and understanding of treatment recommendations Capacity to manage emotionally complex clinical situations with professionalism and empathy
