About The Position

Lifekind Health is looking for an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team full-time in Victorville ( 4/10 schedule, Wed-Sat, 8am-7pm ). Deliver evidence-based psychological and behavioral health services to patients receiving care in a transdisciplinary pain management setting. This role collaborates closely with medical providers, physical reconditioning staff, and care coordination teams to support functional restoration, treatment adherence, and improved quality of life for patients with complex chronic pain conditions. Deliver a combination of group therapy, individual therapy, and behavioral health intakes, depending on clinic needs and scheduling. Our mission is to bring care that’s whole, human, and healing. About the position: Clinical Care Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and intakes for patients with pain-related conditions Provide individual psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, ACT, MI, trauma-informed approaches) tailored to chronic pain populations Facilitate structured group therapy sessions focused on pain coping skills, functional restoration, emotional regulation, and health behavior change Develop and document individualized treatment plans aligned with the patient’s overall medical and physical reconditioning goals Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions based on clinical outcomes and interdisciplinary feedback Transdisciplinary Collaboration Participate in coordinated care workflows alongside medical providers, physical reconditioning clinicians, and clinic operations staff Communicate behavioral health findings and recommendations clearly to the care team to support integrated treatment planning Contribute to case discussions, handoffs, and unit-based coordination as scheduled Documentation & Compliance Complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in the electronic health record Maintain adherence to professional, ethical, legal, and regulatory standards (state licensure, HIPAA, payer requirements) Support quality assurance and utilization management processes when applicable Patient Experience Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care that reflects the organization’s mission and values Support patient engagement, adherence, and understanding of treatment recommendations Capacity to manage emotionally complex clinical situations with professionalism and empathy

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, ora related behavioral health field required
  • Active, unrestricted CA license (e.g., PsyD/PhD, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent)
  • Experience providing psychotherapy to adult patients
  • Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, team-based clinical environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with chronic pain, injury recovery, or complex medical populations preferred
  • Experience conducting psychological evaluations for interventional pain procedures or surgical clearance
  • Training in CBT, ACT, or other evidence-based pain-focused interventions preferred
  • Prior experience in integrated or interdisciplinary healthcare settings preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
