Under the supervision and direction of a pharmacist, conducts a wide range of delegated technical and clerical functions necessary to support the provision of pharmacy products and services; supports departmental/organizational quality initiatives. Technical duties will include: compounding (sterile and non-sterile), packaging, and preparation of medication doses and IV products; refilling of various medication supply kits, carts, drawers, bags, etc.; maintenance of automated dispensing devices; inventory management. Clerical duties will include: answering incoming phone calls; billing; unit inspections; departmental cleaning and organizing; report generation and review; conducting billing and medication utilization audits; filing and record keeping. Minimum Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent. Registration/Certification or License Required: Possesses Pharmacy Technician License, or in process of obtaining a license within 120 days of hire or a Pharmacy student possessing a Pharmacist Education Limited License. Pay Range: $18.49-$27.38/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm; Weekend rotation coverage; Occasional Mid-shift & 2nd shift 11:00am-7:00pm; 1:30pm-10:00pm.
