About The Position
In addition to being responsible for performing the standard duties & responsibilities of the staff PTA, this position functions in an advanced clinical support role assisting leadership in the areas of clinical competencies, clinical program development, and quality initiatives within the PTA scope of practice.
Requirements
- Require a minimum of five (5) years of clinical practice in a rehab setting (IRF, OP, Acute).
- Require PT credentialed Clinical Instructor Program.
- Require clinical instructor student clinicals within the last thirty-six (36) months.
- Require to achieve and maintain Advanced Proficiency Designation (APTA), or achieve and maintain two (2) or more certifications from the approved certification list.
- Require State or National level professional association membership.
- AS: Associate of Science
- LPTA: Lic Physical Therapy Assist
Nice To Haves
- Prefer Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.
- BLS: Basic Life Support
