About The Position

Pro Med Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Behavioral Health experience to join our compassionate and professional team. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care to patients with behavioral health needs, ensuring safe, effective, and individualized care.

Requirements

• Current and valid LPN license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in behavioral health or related nursing field preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of behavioral health conditions, medication administration, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support to behavioral health patients.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
• Assist with routine assessments and vital signs monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient care accurately and promptly.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.
• Maintain safety and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Support patients during detox and withdrawal processes.
