About The Position
Overview Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving 400,000 people living in central, western and Midcoastal Maine. CMH's hospital facilities include Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital. Department: Float Pool Schedule: Nights, 7p-7a, 12-hour shifts Facility: Central Maine Medical Center Location: Lewiston, ME 620145
Requirements
- Current and valid state license
- Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum one year experience in acute care nursing preferred.
- IV certification upon hire (state specific)
Nice To Haves
- Current ACLS (AHA or ARC) certificate preferred or within 60 days of hire
Responsibilities
- The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements.
- In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care and improve the overall patient experience in a variety of patient care units.
