How you’ll contribute  As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department. Essential Functions Additional Information Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult. Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record. Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees. Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited LPN program.
  • Certifications: Current LPN license in state of practice
  • BCLS required
  • Handle with Care preferred

Responsibilities

  • As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
