Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)- Private Duty Nursing
About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is seeking experienced Per Diem Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our dedicated clinical team throughout Pennsauken, NJ and Camden County. If you are passionate about pediatric nursing and value building meaningful, long-term relationships with your patients, we would love to hear from you. As an Affirmed Pediatric LPN, you will provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric clients with complex medical needs in the comfort of their homes. Our cases allow you to focus fully on your patient—without the fast-paced environment of a facility. We are especially interested in nurses who have experience caring for medically fragile children, including those requiring tracheostomy and/or ventilator support. Most shifts are 8–12 hours, offering consistency, flexibility, and the opportunity to truly make a difference in a child’s life.
Requirements
- Active NJ LPN license
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Physical exam within the past 12 months
- PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years)
- Proof of MMR immunization within 10 years
- Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical exemption
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of recent pediatric nursing experience in an acute care or home care setting preferred
- 1 year of pediatric trach and vent experience preferred
- Experience caring for medically complex pediatric patients
- Valid driver’s license preferred
