About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality patient care during night shifts in a skilled nursing setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring residents, administering medications, and supporting daily care needs while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Alaska.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively during night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor, assess, and document residents’ health conditions and report changes as needed.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility, hygiene, and comfort.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to deliver effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Communicate professionally with residents, families, and healthcare staff.
