About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a Med/Surg Telemetry Float team in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. The LPN will provide direct patient care, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes. The ideal candidate has experience in medical-surgical and telemetry units , strong clinical skills, and the ability to adapt quickly when floating between units.

Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
• Experience in Medical-Surgical and/or Telemetry units
• Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in Med/Surg and Telemetry units
• Monitor and document vital signs and telemetry readings
• Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Follow patient safety and infection control protocols
• Support patient education and discharge planning when needed
