Our team includes more than 125 highly skilled physicians across a wide range of specialties, including Cardiology, Neurology, Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine, Rehabilitation, Laboratory, Women’s Imaging, Wound Care, and more. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN to join our Medsurg team, where you’ll play a vital role in delivering high‑quality patient care within a collaborative and supportive environment. Website: https://www.stmarysregional.com Summary of Job: Performs the functions of LPN in implementing and evaluating nursing care for all assigned patient care in collaboration with a registered nurse. Practices nursing in accordance with established standard of practice, policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Current LPN licensure from the State of Oklahoma required.
- Current BLS required.
- Experience preferred.
- NIH Stroke Scale certified within 2 months of hire.
- Proof of IV therapy course through LPN education program or IV therapy venipuncture activity training course required within 6 months. Record of procedure proficiency.
- Venipuncture skills required.
- Basic computer skills required.
Responsibilities
- Participates in the modification of the plan of care by collaborating with other members of the multidisciplinary team with consideration of the developmental needs of the patient.
- Participates in the evaluation of the patient’s response to interventions based upon predicted outcome
- Reassesses the patient as defined in the Nursing Standards of Care Policy and modifies the plan of care as needed.
- Contributes to the assessment of the patient by conducting focused assessments of the patient.
- Collects data and compares the data collected to the patient’s previous condition and documents/reports as appropriate.
