Requirements

• Valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Florida
• Prior experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including some weekends
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems are a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and regulatory standards
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
• Document care provided and maintain accurate resident records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive resident care
• Uphold safety and infection control protocols at all times
