POSITION SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is to provide general nursing care and leadership, working collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary team members. The L.P.N. will promote and restore patients’ health by implementing, delegating, evaluating, documenting, and coordinating professional patient care through the use of the nursing process for patients of all ages, genders, cultures, and backgrounds, and by providing physical and psycho-social support to patients, friends, and families. The L.P.N. will plan for the provision of patient care by implementing the plan of care to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care, with oversight of other personnel, including but not limited to Certified Nursing Assistants. The L.P.N. must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care and is expected to adhere to and abide by the facility's policies and the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
