Responsibilities

• Obtaining vital signs such as temperature, heart rate, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, and weight
• Inserting saline locks
• Providing advanced life support
• Delivering wound care
• Assisting with pelvic exams, EKGs, and lab tests
• Administering various types of medications including oral, intramuscular, and IV
• Applying splints and sterile dressings
• Removing sutures and staples
• Performing venipuncture
• Conducting TB skin tests
