About The Position

Licensed Practical Nurse , under the guidance of the Registered Nurse, is responsible for the care and treatment of patients in the Oncology Unit. Regarding health information has access to demographics and limited clinical data relevant to the encounter. May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in North Carolina.
• Possesses a thorough knowledge of principles and practice of surgical asepsis.
• Certification in BLS. (upon hire)
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

• Responsible for the care and treatment of patients in the Oncology Unit.
