About The Position

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Part Time (Weekend) - (Freehold, NJ) Are you a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking for a high-impact, one-on-one clinical role? Abound Health is seeking a dedicated LPN to provide essential care for a client in Freehold, NJ (08734) . This is a unique opportunity to provide "total care" for an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in a home-based setting. You will be the clinical cornerstone for this family, providing the professional support necessary to ensure the clients safety and the family's peace of mind. Compensation & Premium Benefits Hourly Pay: $36.50-$38/hour Signing Bonus: $1,000 for new hires! Weekly Pay: Consistent, reliable earnings every week. Impact: Meaningful, community-based work with a "person-centered" focus. The Schedule Total Hours: 8-16 hours per week. Shift: Approximately 8 hours Saturday or Sunday Days: 1/ days a week (Sat or Sun) Flexibility: The family is flexible regarding the specific start and end times to accommodate the right candidate. Clinical Responsibilities (Medical Acuity) This role is for a "total care" client with high medical acuity. Your expertise will be vital in the following areas:

Requirements

• Licensure: Active New Jersey LPN License is required.
• Experience: Comfort and proficiency with feeding tubes and total care environments.
• Professionalism: Strong communication skills and the ability to build a trusting, positive relationship with the client and their family.
• Reliability: A valid drivers license and reliable transportation to Lanoka Harbor.
• Compliance: Ability to pass all NJ-mandated background checks.

Responsibilities

• Direct Nursing Care: Provide comprehensive support, including monitoring vitals, mobility assistance, and personal care.
• Medication Administration: Ensure accurate delivery of all medications in compliance with NJ state regulations.
• Care Coordination: Collaborate with the family and care teams to implement the Individualized Support Plan (ISP).
• Documentation: Maintain precise, timely clinical records of all treatments and interventions.
