Requirements

  • Must be organized, self-motivated and detail oriented.
  • Job duties require the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Exhibit competence in working with both pediatric and adult patients.
  • May be expected to travel to and provide coverage for other PMG clinics during nursing staff absences.
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of coworkers by sharing knowledge, providing guidance, and supporting skill development
  • Employee will exhibit competency when utilizing the following equipment: ECG PFT In-house hemoglobin Lab centrifuge AED Autoclave Vital Sign Machine Nebulizer and accessories Blood Glucose INR In-house hemoglobin A1c Oxygen tanks and accessories Any other equipment listed on job competencies
  • Employees will comply with job competencies and skill checkoffs as part of the annual evaluation.
  • Employees will be expected to navigate and operate the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Employees will meet Continuing Education Requirement for his/her certifications and licensures as per Florida State Statutes and/or board of authority
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program
  • Current LPN license in the State of Florida
  • Current BLS (basic life support) Certification
  • Effectively communicates complex and/or technical information to co-workers, patients and/or vendors.
  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Sitting for long periods of time
  • Viewing a computer monitor for long periods of time

  • Stretching / Reaching

  • Health / Safety Consideration of Position o Exposure to chemical infectious / contagious illness o Exposure to chemical and inhalation of antibiotics during reconstitution o Exposure to X-Ray radiation o Exposure to a variety of scents and odors o Must utilize universal precaution in clinical or exposure situations as prescribed by federal state, and local guidelines and /or laws
