About The Position
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, the LPN Residential Nurse is responsible for the effective operation of the Detox Unit. Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
- AHA BLS required upon hire or transfer.
- CPI required within 90 days of hire or transfer. Current incumbents will be required to obtain CPI certification by 3/31/2025.
- Minimum of one year's experience in detoxification required.
- Ability to perform assessment for signs and symptoms of dependency and withdrawal.
- Demonstrates knowledge of health-related issues regarding addiction, detoxification, chronic diseases, communicable and infectious diseases.
- Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
