Conveniently located off I-94 and U.S. 131 in Kalamazoo, Pet Vet Family Pet Care Center is looking for a friendly, energetic, and organized Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our close-knit, community-focused team. What You’ll Do As a key member of our team, you’ll play an essential role in supporting our veterinarians and providing top-tier care to our patients. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Veterinary Technician program (Associate Degree).
- Successful completion of the VTNE and current Michigan LVT license.
- A genuine passion for both patient care and client education.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A team-first attitude and professional demeanor.
- Prior experience in the veterinary field.
Responsibilities
- Communicating clearly and compassionately with pet owners.
- Educating clients on their pet’s health, wellness, and at-home care.
- Implementing treatment plans and assisting with procedures as recommended by our veterinarians
- Perform various tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations and daily workflow
- Collaborating with our team to deliver high-quality, consistent patient care.
