Prism is seeking an experienced and intellectually curious Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. The Veterinary Technician works in tandem with our veterinarians and anesthesiologist to provide anesthesia and analgesia services, dental radiographs, cleanings, and dental charting to our patients. You'll work with the latest technology, practice modern medicine, and participate in the education of our clients. Requirements

Licensure in New York State (LVT)
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and an ability to clearly communicate with clients as well as team members
The ability to adapt while maintaining a positive attitude
Highly evolved organizational skills with an acute attention to detail
An openness to feedback, coaching, and continuous learning
2+ years’ experience as a Veterinary Technician is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Daily Anesthesia monitoring during procedures
Advanced history taking
Advanced imaging and charting
Conducting physical examinations and patient assessments
Rounding with the doctor on cases using learned dentistry knowledge
Providing consistently compassionate care for our hospitalized patients
