About The Position

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Prenatal and Infusion Clinic On-site Prenatal Clinic and Infusion Center are looking for top skilled LVN. Is that you? Work location: Texas Health Arlington Memorial, 800 W. Randol Mill Road in Arlington, TX 76012. Work hours: Full Time, Day Shift, 40 hours per week. Day shift, Monday to Friday, no weekend requirements. What You Will Do Plan of Care and Technical Skills: • Collaborates with team to facilitate hourly rounding and initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information. • Takes action to reduce/eliminate patient risks. • Collects data and reports significant findings to RN. • Safely administers medication in accordance with medication administration guidelines. • Uses nursing model to obtain adequate data to initiate, implement, and revise plan of care to meet patient, physician, and family needs. • Individualizes care measures to reflect specific patient population. Performs technical procedures safely and proficiently. • Demonstrates critical thinking. • Adheres to national safety goals in care delivery. • Monitors patients. Partnerships: • Works in partnership with peers, other disciplines, and unlicensed assistive personnel. • Actively participates in formal and informal teaching and evaluation to strengthen clinical competence of self and team members. • Uses Unit Based Council structure. • Flexible with scheduling to help meet departmental/patient needs. • Adapts to changes in workload assignment to meet changing needs of the individual patient or the unit. Here’s What You Need · LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse required for Texas. · BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly, required. · CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 90 days of hire, required. · 6 (six) months previous experience in an acute care hospital setting or completion of a THR residency program, required. · Previous experience with Prenatal and Infusion is preferred.

  • LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse required for Texas.
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly, required.
  • CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 90 days of hire, required.
  • 6 (six) months previous experience in an acute care hospital setting or completion of a THR residency program, required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with Prenatal and Infusion is preferred.
