We’re seeking a dynamic and passionate Licensing Trainer to join our growing Training Team. In this high-impact role, you’ll prepare new hires for success by delivering engaging instruction, coaching learners through complex material, and equipping them to confidently pass their state licensing exams. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional training experience required; insurance licensing training experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required insurance licenses as issued by various state Departments of Insurance.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn, retain, and apply large volumes of technical and procedural information with accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and priority-setting skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced training environment.
  • Proven ability to follow complex instructions while delivering structured, compliant training content.
  • Experience facilitating discussions, resolving conflicts, and fostering a respectful, productive learning environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex insurance concepts clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to effectively coach, motivate, and drive learner performance to achieve measurable licensing exam results.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, dependable, and committed to maintaining a strong work ethic in a performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, structured instruction to prepare new hires for successful completion of state insurance licensing exams.
  • Coach and mentor learners through exam preparation, study strategies, and performance improvement to ensure strong pass rates.
  • Foster a supportive and accountable classroom environment that promotes engagement, participation, and professional growth.
  • Ensure all training content and delivery aligns with state regulatory requirements and company compliance standards.
  • Partner with department leaders and onboarding teams to support a seamless transition from licensing to role-specific training.
  • Provide timely feedback to leadership on learner performance trends, opportunities for improvement, and overall program effectiveness.
