About The Position

Our Blood Institute is actively looking for a Lifecycle Communications Manager who owns the execution and delivery of donor-facing lifecycle communications across email, SMS, push, print, and related channels. This role is responsible for leading lifecycle copy development-including appeals, urgent blood shortage messaging, and recurring recruitment communications-ensuring content is clear, compelling, donor-centric, and aligned with organizational priorities. In addition to hands-on ownership of high-impact copy, this role provides day-to-day leadership for the Outbound Communications team, overseeing workflow, execution quality, and deployment readiness. Acting as the primary execution owner and escalation point for internal partners, the Manager translates brand concepts and lifecycle strategy into deployable communications that drive appointments, improve show rates, and strengthen donor loyalty, while reducing Director-level involvement in daily operational inquiries.

  • Demonstrated experience leading teams or workflows; formal people management experience preferred.

  • Familiarity with CRM or outbound communication platforms and comfort building communications directly within those systems.
  • Ability to balance creative judgment with speed, accuracy, and operational constraints.
