We are seeking a talented and experienced marketer to fill the Customer Marketing Manager, Reengagement. At its core, this role will be responsible for creating marketing programs designed to reengage churned customers (those who have not made a recent purchase). This includes planning, implementation, optimization, and measurement of these marketing programs. Marketing programs will be cross-channel (i.e., include site messaging, email, mobile app and paid channels) and will require cross-functional coordination with merch, operations, and tech. Success in this role will therefore require assessing technical and implementation challenges, cross-functional coordination and advocacy, and making programmatic purchases within the defined marketing space.

This role will be responsible for positively impacting high-level KPIs (key performance indicators) such as growing zulilys active customer base, improving reactivation rates, and delivering on cost-per-reactivation targets. While the role will have analytical support, the ideal candidate will be someone who is comfortable digging into data and identifying insights held within. This person will also develop monthly and quarterly program roadmaps for improving KPIs and provide visibility into ongoing work, program testing and optimization efforts.

Lastly, this person will also be responsible for building a small team to execute the day-to-day marketing operations to the churned customer segment. Success in this role requires a strong bias for action, and the ability to execute daily at the highest level. In addition, candidates will be expected to have strong, organized and responsible budget management skills. The role reports to the Group Marketing Manager for Activation & Engagement.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

* Managing and coordinating marketing campaigns and A/B tests focused on reactivating churned customers
* Meeting (and exceeding!) KPI targets for reactivated customers and cost-per-reactivation as well as effective management of a remarketing budget
* Cross-functional coordination and advocacy for marketing campaigns
* Effective communication of the results and performance of marketing campaigns
* Developing a strategic roadmap for improving KPIs and effectiveness of marketing campaigns
* Management of a team of one or two specialists / analysts

QUALIFICATIONS

* 5+ years of related experience with marketing or specific channel (Brand, Customer Acquisition, Lifecycle) and 2+ years leading a team of Marketing professionals
* Experience developing, launching and measuring marketing campaigns
* Experience in display advertising is preferred
* Experience with SQL/BigQuery/Excel and comfort with manual data analysis
* Experience in fast-paced, high-energy, multi-tasking role and environments
* Excellent communication (verbal and written skills)
