Requirements

High school diploma (some college preferred).
Current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification.
CPR/First Aid/AED certification required.
Strong communication skills and a calm, confident presence.
Availability for weekends and holidays when needed.
Self-motivated with a commitment to teamwork and safety.

Responsibilities

Keep a watchful eye over our therapy pool, lap pool, and spa—ensuring everyone stays safe and supported.
Educate swimmers on safety and pool rules, taking action to prevent accidents.
Respond quickly and effectively in emergencies with verified lifesaving skills (CPR, first aid, rescue techniques).
Monitor pool conditions, maintain accurate safety and chemical records, and ensure equipment is ready for action.
Assist with swim lessons and safety education for new swimmers.
