About The Position

Responsible for the supervision and operations of the pool and pool area during operating hours. Requirements

  • Current Lifeguard/First Aid certification
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Some High School

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a lifeguard is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Open facility and greet patrons upon their arrival, to include notifying the on-duty Facility Manager to unlock the pool.
  • Enforce facility rules and regulations regarding the safe and proper use of the pool, deck and diving boards.
  • Oversee activities in and around the pool at all times.
  • Serve as a first responder in the event of an emergency.
  • Complete facility participation reports.
  • Secure the facility upon closing, to include notifying the on-duty Facility Manager to lock the pool.
  • Administer facility evaluations.
  • Attend and participate in departmental employee training programs.
