What you will have an opportunity to do: We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced individual to join our Lifestyle Team as Lifestyle Host Supervisor. This supervisory role focuses on organizing, delivering, and leading engaging family-oriented events and activity programs in a vibrant resort environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in entertainment and guest engagement, with the creativity, energy, and leadership skills to serve as a key on-stage representative, emcee activities, and collaborate across departments to create memorable experiences for guests of all ages.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of proven experience in organizing, leading, and delivering events with a focus on family-oriented entertainment in a resort, cruise, theme park, or similar hospitality setting.
  • Previous experience arranging and implementing activity programs, preferably involving children and groups.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills with an outgoing, approachable, and professional demeanor.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm, creativity, energy, and ability to perform scripted material and choreography.
  • Strong multitasking and leadership abilities in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of event coordination, safety protocols, and guest service standards.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training provided if needed).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently (the primary language used in the workplace).
  • An audition will be required as part of the application process to assess performance skills, energy, and fit for on-stage roles.
  • Full-time position (40 hours per week), permanent, with flexible scheduling to meet business needs.
  • Availability required during weekends, public holidays, school holidays, peak seasons, early mornings, evenings, and high-demand family periods.
  • The role includes day and evening shifts, with potential on-call or extended hours during busy times.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role in entertainment/activities is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Guest Interaction and Entertainment: Maintain high levels of guest engagement through frequent interactions, using a microphone for announcements, leading on-stage activities, and seeking out opportunities to connect with guests.
  • Activity Leadership: Serve as the emcee and lead for all adult and family activities, including pool games, trivia sessions, movie nights, sports challenges, island tours, crafts, cooking demonstrations, and other programmed events around the pool and beach areas.
  • Program Delivery: Learn and perform scripted material, choreography, and routines for various activities; deliver events with enthusiasm, boundless energy, and professionalism.
  • Event Organization and Setup: Organize and deliver family-oriented entertainment events; assist with setup for beach and pool activities; contribute to the coordination of diverse programming in collaboration with other departments (e.g., bartenders, Beach Ambassadors, pool operators, concierge, Kids Club, and Red Sail Sports/shore excursions).
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to present varied and engaging activities; provide operational support as needed for excursions, events, or other resort initiatives.
  • Guest Experience Enhancement: Foster positive interactions, resolve guest inquiries or concerns related to activities, and contribute to making the resort a top destination for families.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support the Lifestyle Team and overall resort operations.
